Recorda que tots els verbs de la primera conjugació són regulars, tret d’anar i estar. Pots utilitzar el verb cantar com a model.

Observa que tenim dos temps de passat: el passat simple (cantà) i el passat perifràstic (va cantar).
El passat perifràstic és característic de la llengua oral i també s’empra en textos escrits. En canvi, el passat simple és utilitzat usualment en alguns parlars valencians i a Eivissa i també en textos escrits, generalment literaris i de registre formal.

Pots practicar el model de conjugació regular de la primera conjugació fent l’activitat següent. Cal que completis els buits d’unes frases amb la forma adequada del verb.
